I love these - I use them with the bungee cord on the underside of my Jeep's convertible doors and use it to hold the window open while driving. Attaching to them will not interfere with the window zipper or damage the zipper teeth or vinyl window, it stays on the edge of the fabric. I can do a quarter window (or less), half a window. in pretty much any position I want if I don't want the whole window opening up - and flapping around. Ensures perfect individual ventilation! I've looked everywhere for something like this that wouldn't damage the zipper teeth or the vinyl window. They are nice and heavy and not thin. I worried about cold weather, rainy weather, high temperatures - and it seemed like they could handle all that and more. People are amazed at my little setup. I'm very excited!
