Bought this for when I watch Rover dogs and need to keep my cat and the dog separate. It is located on the bottom of my stairs and works great (minus one dog jumping over, but he was a tall/athletic dog). Installation was not too difficult, just read the instructions and pay attention to the different width measurements if you have a baseboard.
