I was so curious if it would calm my neighbors' dogs. Maybe it was? Maybe it was mostly a placebo effect for me, I thought that might be the case. The device makes noises. I kind of hear. I can see how this can be annoying for dogs and therefore effective. All this indicates that the device is very sensitive and not very sensitive. so smart. The wind makes it disappear. Any loud noise will trigger it. He can't tell a bark from a finger snap. He drained a new 9V battery in two days. I might try again in a less windy time of year - I might just consider buying one where the noise entry is a bit more protected and therefore not as sensitive. (Besides, why are the rest of the reviews referring to dog brushes? lol)
