In retrospect, I should have chosen a lighter compression and a larger size. I flew wearing these socks, and initially I had no problems . until a few hours after I landed. Later, the socka were simply too painful to wear anymore. I believe I had chosen the wrong size (too small) and too high compression (should be medium or light for me).I would try these again, however. Initially, I did not like the open toe, but later I realized how helpful it was to not be constricted in the toe area. I don't know if this caused any discomfort though. I will never go back to closed toe compression socks unless this episode repeats itself with a better sized, lower compression pair.Thank you.
