I had high hopes but I have to tell you this belt does not have the quality elastic that I was hoping for. It's a pretty thin rubber band. It's slightly heavier than the elastic on your panties. Yes the. I found it loose when trying to thread it through the belt loops. The end of the thread is torn off the spool and the burnt edges are rough. Later that day while changing I accidentally stepped on the buckle and heard a clicking sound and when I lifted the strap the loop cover came loose. It didn't break and I was able to push it back in with some force and a thin screwdriver. I carry my gear on my belt and that's totally unsuitable for any load or even a phone case. He is very thin. I would wear this when traveling to avoid metal detectors and only for very light clothing.
