These grinders are excellent value for the price I bought them for. I "felt" the grind on my previous grinders, but these grinders are surprisingly smooth. I have never felt a coffee grinder grind so smoothly. In fact, at first I thought they were broken. I spent time adjusting the grind size according to the instructions because I thought something was wrong with me. But I never got to the point where I could feel that grinding sensation. But if I put it on something I could see coming out of, it was good! So if you get them and think there's something wrong with them, I'd recommend checking the coarseness setting and putting them somewhere where you can see what's coming out. Not the feeling I'm used to but it works well and they look good at a great price.
