I have Keen's for my son in all sizes from toddler 4-9. I have both the sandal version and the tennis shoe version. Every Keens shoe is my favorite shoe for toddlers (and everyone else, including adults) for a number of reasons. They have velcro closures that are easy to put on and take off for me, preschoolers, and toddlers. They aren't slippers. Flip flops are dangerous for babies. You can trip over a sock, it can be difficult to walk in it etc. I've never had this problem with Keens.3. I can wash and dry them. I toss them in the wash and can air dry them or tumble dry them on low and they always come out clean and hold up to fading very well. They just hold up well. I have had numerous pairs of shoes for myself and my husband and now my son and have never had a problem with them being more than durable. It is also nice that it is a nice all-season shoe. I can wear socks underneath and they are perfect even in winter. They're also great for getting muddy and wet because they have such a strong grip! Overall we will continue to buy Keen for my little one and this style is perfect.
