The smallest stencil is incredibly small.
I haven't used all of them yet but I have the biggest one with me 2 acrylic paints. The paint has already soiled it but has come off. I washed them immediately after use. It was fun using letters randomly in an art project, so I can't really say if they work well for lining up for words. The smallest template is just ridiculous. I think you can only use it with acrylic paints or pencil.
