Review on ๐Ÿ”๏ธ Premium Cascade Mountain Tech Trekking Polesโ€”Carbon Fiber Folding Walking Sticks: Quick Adjustable Locks (Set of 2) by Donnie Boss

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Lasted 3 years, refurbished

Used for hiking and hunting on and off trail in very steep terrain. Cons: Almost immediately, the carbon bars separated from the aluminum pivots. After the trips I sealed them all in place one by one and this solved this problem. You must be careful not to overtighten or overtighten the clip when disconnecting as you could lose the clip or you could start disassembling the connection. This season (3rd year of use) one bar linkage just gave up and got super wobbly and when it fell down the lower segment of the others just broke off and disappeared into the abyss and I couldn't find it. The line inside the rod makes a slight click every time you touch the rod with force so it's not silent but a little annoying even when you're not hunting. Pros: I liked the grips, takedown size, and weight. I'm 6 feet and the length was ok. They were cheap and I expected them to break much sooner. They didn't suffer from aluminum oxidation when left wet for long periods of time, that white stuff that eventually grabs aluminum rods and twist-locks. Racks with drawer with knob and sheathed cable instead of bungee cord. I'm tired of all the twist lock sections and the problems they cause, the time it takes to install them and the noise of the shock cord. If Cascade Mountain Tech made these other Z styles I would buy them.
