The clip doesn't fit properly on the iphone 5s camera, it's almost impossible to make an easy seal while centering the lens/clip . Also, the grip ring on the clamp isn't cleanly off-center and can easily blur the edges of the photo. It's also an inferior gummy that isn't sticky/addictive at all. Aside from that, you can get it working if you're not impatient. But a tripod is almost a must. I am very happy with the quality of the lens and the photos turned out better than I expected. This will work for better macro shots on hikes and wide angle shots at work. Be careful with the threads and they work fine. The thick case seems to increase the warp/fisheye. I have a thin case and it still works, but the phone needs to be bare for the best experience. I'm curious to see if the high-quality lens actually works with the clip that comes with it.
