This is a good drill, especially for the money compared to some of the bigger brands and the higher priced equivalent drills. I vowed to ignore Black and Decker after nickel-cadmium batteries proved so useless, but this lithium-ion battery model performs well, has good battery life, and lasts quite a long time on the shelf. I ended up buying two. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars at the moment is that actual testing will come with time and it's only had a few months of light use so far.
