I am an artist and can be used as a personal gift or in lieu of a thank you note or hostess gift. I also gave them a set of watercolor pencils so the children could create their own drawings. Friends, family, colleagues are always happy about something personal and handmade. They are fun to make and fun to give. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the canvas could have been stretched tighter over the frame. Otherwise, I highly recommend them!
