I live in New England. I've been walking/running in minimalist shoes since Vibram for over 10 years but they stink to high heaven. I then switched to Merrell sandals (like the Trail Glove) and they worked great, except I've had a couple of bad pairs recently which led me to believe their quality had dropped. I also have several pairs of Xero sandals that I wear when the temperature hits 50 degrees or more. But I needed something for fall/winter. I bought the TSLA shoes four months ago and I've been putting them on the road for over 40 miles a week so I've got over 500 miles on them, probably over 600 miles. They still fit well, don't blister and work well on snowy roads. And they have enough but not too much cushioning and (like I prefer) no arch support. less on snow/water and their days are numbered. Do you think my mileage is acceptable? I will most likely be buying another pair in the coming weeks as they still seem like the best option to me.
