Poor durability for PC

UPDATE2: I had to throw away the keyboard after 4 months. It just didn't accept keystrokes as often that I couldn't log in, run commands, etc. It was very frustrating. too much of. Every few hours of active typing, the keyboard will pause/stutter and repeat a key 20 times, plus a few random ones, then refuse to type for a second, then revert to normal. These aren't specific keys, but more commonly found on the left half. SUMMARY: Typing is good, tactility is at the top of a bar (poor), backlight control is good, Fn function keys don't work at all (poor), and various keys stutter/repeatedly. Support is email only and does not respond. PROS: * Accessible digital manual * Great design * Twice as quiet as MX Blue * As quiet as Zorro (A33) and Outemu Black switches. CONS: * It takes a few days for the tactile feedback to be felt. * Tactile feedback is very soft and on the high end of keystrokes. * Key echoes at the bottom (Gateron quiet brown would be better) * Fn function keystrokes are not processed * Key stutters and repeats every few hours * No support response. DETAILS: The company has their own PDF manual online, which is nice. They also offer the same keyboard with pre-installed O-rings and sets of auxiliary keys replacing Escape, Arrows and WASD with Red. Of course, standard Cherry/Gateron keycaps will work in 87-key mode. I only received the wired version, the cable has a small strain relief on each end and a smooth thin PVC jacket. Pretty standard. The wires inside are thick enough to hold their shape, which means lower resistance and longer runtime if you move your keyboard a lot (like at non-laptop LAN parties, but does anyone really do that more than Bridge Crew?) "My brown switches are usually Cherry MX Brown, which are tactile, not clicky. These switches are Brown CONTENT brand switches. The actuation and spring are fine, but there's no tactile feel at all initially. They feel a little dry but once you've pressed them a bit you'll hardly notice any dry plastic vibration on dry plastic. That's very little resistance. After a few days of typing the feel of the texture when dipping wore off and I could feel a tactile bump all over at the top of the key press it's not that ideal as the hit disappears long before you activate the key it feels like the keys are almost stuck at the top Sit and move only when you let go. If you press VERY lightly and slowly, you may feel a drop. I type a lot, so I skip every keystroke. They seem a little light and I have a few errors, especially when I'm not sure what to type. The printing speed is good and the noise level is about half that of the Cherry Blue switches. The tone is lower and the addition of o-rings to the pistons helps dampen a few dB more at high frequencies. I sometimes hear a faint metallic ringing sound from the keyboard when typing at medium speed. The overall sound level is on par with the black switches on the Zorro and Outemu. Certainly not as quiet as Cherry Silent or Soft Landing Devices. The keyboard frame feels a little thicker than, say, BESTEK or Reddragon, but that's only because the ridge rises higher at the edges. As a result, the light comes from the keys themselves and from the gap between the keys and falls less on the table. There are many backlight modes: from pulsing to flickering, stroboscopic or anti-stroboscopic. Everything is cool, but in the end it's best to use single-color keys with medium to high brightness. The keys are double, with translucent white letters running all the way through. The highlight goes through the letters, but there is no texture at the top. The functions of the Fn key are imprinted in bronze ink that wears away over time. There are recordable macros, launching multiple applications, and volume control. Unfortunately, these functions are *not* standard key codes. My other keyboards send correct volume controls and it just works. This keyboard does not exist. Only internal keyboard functions such as backlight control work. Fn-Tab blinks both status LEDs (Caps-Lock and Win-Lock) but doesn't seem to do anything. The instructions don't mention this. Fn-Ctrl-Esc should do a factory reset, but it only passes the Windows key. winlock works. The backlight controls the work. The computer, home, email, media controls, volume control, and calculator all tap the buttons and do nothing. I have a variety of keyboards from different manufacturers including HP, BesTek and many more. They all work, so I think this keyboard just doesn't handle those keys or has a special driver, no actual keyboard handling.
