Review on πŸ”Š Enhanced Marine Zone Receiver RGHR45 Bluetooth/Radio/Wired Remote by Rockville by Sean Reddy

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works great with my 2006 Sea Ray 240 Sundeck

Good loud system with good bass (I like the +7 bass setting). A subwoofer is not needed - the bass was felt with feet in the front seats. Bluetooth worked great with an Android Pixel 2 phone (I tested that I could walk 50 feet and it still worked), and USB worked great with an old 8GB FAT32 flash drive I had laying around. a hole in the dashboard where the original Clarion stereo was located - a hole saw could not be used as the hole was already there (see photo). I just drilled dozens of small holes to enlarge the original hole. At first the system wouldn't turn on because I didn't connect the yellow wire to the auxiliary switch. I chose to connect the yellow extra wire to the red wire so that it is always on when the battery switch is on (which is fine because I always disconnect the battery when I'm not using the boat). I didn't want any hassle, so I ran tinned 12 gauge duplex marine wire from the battery fused circuit to a dedicated Rockville receiver circuit. (see picture) I also ran 14 gauge duplex marine tinned wire to all the speakers. The 13 year old speakers work perfectly - I can't find anything wrong with them so won't be replacing them. A few days ago I went to the lake and swam in the middle while cleaning the interior. System booted up within an hour. So far no problems. I turned the volume up to 40 for a moment to check, but most of the time I had the volume between 10 and 20 during the stop.
