Very poor customer service

The radio has not worked properly since I installed it. When I tried to contact tech support, the website said they only have email support. After several days of emailing back and forth I was not helped. When I asked to speak to someone I was told the phone system was down. It is very strange that the phone system has not been working for more than a week. At one point I was asked about the wiring and I explained that my two batteries are connected in parallel. You said to connect the…

Test before installing! (updated)

was damaged Luckily I checked it before installing it, otherwise I would have been even more annoyed. I'm trying to install this on a machine I'm restoring. I wanted to leave the old factory radio in place, mount it in a separate location and just mount the wired remote next to it. At the moment I have two non-working remotes and now I get no response from the support team. It could be a bad remote or device, but I feel like I'm stuck with that. I don't need this receiver if I can't use the…

Great unit, strong! Connect BOTH power cords, otherwise it won't work!

Excellent boat head unit! It's easy to connect and use, and it really puts some power into the speakers even without an amp. I can't go wrong with this head unit from what I've seen so far. The hole had to be enlarged for mounting compared to the replaced Clarion main unit. All 1 star reviews say this device doesn't work. There are 2 power cables that need to be connected to the power supply. Red main wire and yellow storage wire. If you don't connect the yellow memory cable to power, the…

Left Channel Wrong

I had good luck with the Rockville amp and settled on the Gauge Marine Unit. I ordered Marine Rockville 8" speakers and the installation took about 2 weeks. I was so excited to hook these up to my boat but always wanted to make sure everything worked before I drilled holes in my fiberglass to the 12 -V battery and noticed that 1 speaker was not working. I swapped out the speakers and found that both speakers were fine, it was a burned out left channel on the receiver. I messaged the seller…

Works great with my 2006 Sea Ray 240 Sundeck

Good loud system with good bass (I like the +7 bass setting). A subwoofer is not needed - the bass was felt with feet in the front seats. Bluetooth worked great with an Android Pixel 2 phone (I tested that I could walk 50 feet and it still worked), and USB worked great with an old 8GB FAT32 flash drive I had laying around. a hole in the dashboard where the original Clarion stereo was located - a hole saw could not be used as the hole was already there (see photo). I just drilled dozens of small
