This is a much heavier material than I thought it would be. A foam pad is attached on the back to prevent damage to the car paint. There were no problems with the alignment of the holes. Arrived well packaged, no damage. I only use one of these as an antenna mount. I had to enlarge the hole for mounting the NMO. The reviews have many complaints about the quality of the painting. I have not seen any problems with the paint, even when I drilled a hole there was no paint chipping. If they rust, I take them off, sandblast and repaint them.
