Very thick and sticky! I would NOT buy again!

I have been a professional car wrapper for over 10 years and usually use Avery or 3M for wrapping. I used Vvivid Premium + Vinyl for the foil but this was my first time trying XPO GLOSS BLACK on a roofing foil and I'm sorry to say it was a nightmare. This vinyl is so incredibly sticky and thick that it's almost impossible to make glass before you fix it. ANYTHING that touches the vinyl immediately sticks to the vinyl and not only does it have to be flipped or pulled on the vinyl to peel it off, you have to pull with whatever you need to peel it off. I wrap my car roof several times a week, but this vinyl is clearly not made for that. I just wanted to add that I really like Vvivid Vinyls products and have never had this problem with any other type or color of Vvivid Vinyl, but this XPO Gloss Black needs a lot of improvement if I'm even thinking of using it . again. I ended up throwing away the entire 9ft x 5ft roll I bought as I tried it twice and both times it was almost impossible to wrap the roof of this particular car. I would NOT recommend Vvivid XPO Gloss Black. This is the only issue I've ever had with Vvivid Vinyl and I highly recommend all of their other products. I've lost money and spent a lot of time and was about to lose a customer but luckily I had enough Gloss Black on a 3M 1080 reel to use and it couldn't be easier.

Pros
  • At 4.3 mils, the film stretches and conforms to any shape and is thick enough to minimize discoloration, stretch marks and other visible imperfections when packing and riding.
Cons
  • No Instructions
