The shoes are very comfortable to wear. I was impressed with my toddler wearing the Sketchers and lately I've been unimpressed with my New Balance shoes so I tried them out. While I'm immediately impressed with how comfortable they are, I've been wearing them for less than two months and am getting "Tread Separation". The caterpillars of the boot began to separate from the main shoe. I'll try to stick them on and keep wearing them, but I don't expect them to last long. I only wear shoes to work, which is predominantly an office environment with limited walking and moderate contact with the street or concrete. .
