Not too light, not too heavy. I wanted something between light and medium weight and it worked. I use these with western style boots and they have been amazing. They don't break easily on the toe and let you breathe. I'm just under 6ft 2" and they are fully stretched, reaching up to my knee and not pinching my calves. Very happy with them and will likely buy many more pairs in the future. Sure, now that I've found the perfect boot sock. They won't be offering them anymore, but I will have fond memories of socks that finally met my needs. Buy two packs if you can.
