Good for curtains, bad for showers
I ordered two of these - one to hang lightweight, gauzy curtains, and another to hold a shower curtain, liner and rings. I've had no problems with the rod holding lightweight curtains, but the rod in my shower only lasted 4 months. During that time, the rubbery plastic on the ends yellowed and hardened such that there was no friction to create tension/keep the rod up.
- Master bathroom, did not want glass door on newly remodeled shower. Fits perfect easy to install.
- The tension mechanism may cause damage to walls, paint, or wallpaper
