This bread maker is cheap, but that might be because it's cheaply made. This works and the bread tastes great, but the baking pan often slips out of the holder when kneading. I don't feel comfortable leaving the machine alone during the first 40 minute kneading cycles because I have to keep pushing the pan back onto the grid. When it slides out it makes an awful noise and would probably shake itself off the table if I wasn't standing by to slide it back in. However, once the kneading cycles are over, you can leave the machine alone for a few hours while the bread bakes and the delicious aroma fills your kitchen. The end product is very tasty and although it sucks I still use it all the time. I may just have a faulty unit and not every unit does, but I just wanted to give an honest warning to anyone considering purchasing this product.
