Comparing Festools 150 and 220 Serious Grit sandpaper for Festool sanders, I found that their paper clogs up very quickly, both varnished and clean. Collects wood and dust compared to Festool Garnet Paper was less than outstanding. The photo shows that the Serious Grit sandpaper is already clogged, but the Festool Garant sandpaper is still like new. Both sandpaper pads were used for the same amount of time and sanded the painted window sill in the same way. Festool can still work, while Serious Grit shows "serious" failures even after a lower entry plate. It should be noted that Serious Grit sandpaper is made in China, but Festool sandpaper is not.
