Presta valves are awkward to use when trying to check air pressure. I bought a small pump to put on my bike but it's not possible to inflate tires over 60psi and I need 85 and 95psi. So instead of buying another big pump I bought this and can use my old big bike pump to add air. I'm thinking of returning a new dual valve gauge I bought that loses 1psi every time I use it with a Presta valve! Instead, I can just stick this on and use my cheaper regular tire pressure gauge. This saves me from not needing a new pressure gauge and a new Presta pump. Big savings for a small price.
