Orbi offers an excellent whole-home Wi-Fi signal with a 2-satellite configuration. There is one HUGE security issue compared to other routers, which is the inability to hide the network name by disabling the broadcast SSID. Previous versions of Orbi supported it, but not the latest and greatest firmware version. Another key feature of other routers is the ability to specify whether the network operates at 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz. Orbi manages this internally, which complicates setting up WiFi devices in your home since most IoT devices only operate at 2.4GHz. There are many comments on the Netgear site about the need for these features, but they don't seem to provide an answer. Buyer Warning!
