These bottles are perfect for kombucha and kefir water. I was a bit nervous that they wouldn't be strong enough to withstand the pressure or that the seal wouldn't be strong enough, but so far they're great and a lot easier to clean than flip top bottles with tiny narrow necks. DISASSEMBLE THE COVER AFTER EVERY WASH! I actually found a moth in one of mine, SO awful. Still good bottles BUT make sure you understand there is a small dirt trap in the cap!
