These are good glass jars but the lids are plastic with a brushed metal outer lid. The caps were great initially, but within a month the outer metal cap came loose and soon came loose. 4 out of 6 bottle caps have lost their metal caps. I also found these bottles difficult to clean due to the narrow opening. They were difficult to clean even with a bottle brush. The bottles also sweat, making them slippery. I only used these bottles for a few months before switching to a different style.

I have been carrying these bottles and cases for a number of years now. I always tell people how much I like them. Glass tastes better than plastic. Phasing out single-use plastics is also vital for our planet. I fill all 6 bottles with filtered water in the morning. I often add some lime or lemon juice or 2 herbal tea bags. Given the amount of spam reviews that Revain allows, I felt compelled to write this review. The glass bottle is ok but the cap is terrible. A lid broke, separating the plastic from the "stainless steel" inside the small lid. Practico offered to replace the broken cap (in a good mood) but I don't want another cap like this. smells. These bottles are amazing! They are very durable, fully sealed and easy to clean. I use them for juicing and keep a few in the fridge throughout the day, I even left them in the fridge for a few days and it was perfectly fresh due to the airtight packaging. These bottles are perfect for kombucha and kefir water. I was a bit nervous that they wouldn't be strong enough to withstand the pressure or that the seal wouldn't be strong enough, but so far they're great and a lot easier to clean than flip top bottles with tiny narrow necks. These bottles are overpriced for what they are. The plastic on the inside of the lid has some sort of mysterious black artifact embedded in the plastic, like something fell into the plastic during production and became part of the lid, which is really annoying to look at.
