Philips is not suitable for this screw head.
Said to use Philips #2 but they don't fit. I've tried many different brands and sizes of bits but nothing seems to work. It is very difficult to start as the screw is not seated on the racquet. I buy the 1" version of these screws and they work great. Update: I found out that a square shank would also fit these screws. Works much better than Philips.
