Keep licking and ticking.

I used them on my deck 20 years ago; and when i updated it these screws came out fine. I reused them. All other screws were either rusted, deformed or broken. I don't have local hardware. I used a #2 square driver. Philips #2 will work too.

Pros
  • Latches
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Top Notch's Best Hardware Screws

I've been using them for 25 years (all sizes). My local hardware doesn't have it anymore, so thank goodness Revain does. These big boxes last a long time. These screws are well galvanized and will last a very long time outdoors. They handle very well with the #2 square nozzle, not so well with the Phillips. In general, you can't do better.

Pros
  • Screws
Cons
  • Some little things

Philips is not suitable for this screw head.

Said to use Philips #2 but they don't fit. I've tried many different brands and sizes of bits but nothing seems to work. It is very difficult to start as the screw is not seated on the racquet. I buy the 1" version of these screws and they work great. Update: I found out that a square shank would also fit these screws. Works much better than Philips.

  • Industrial & Scientific
