What I liked was the brightness of the light once it was properly plugged in and the on/off switch was on. It comes with no instructions so it's really a trial and error install to figure it out. The 3m double sided tape is too thin and not thick enough to be pressed firmly against the surface for proper adhesion. The wires going to either branch of the lights (or the truck's battery) aren't long enough to touch for practical even application, so buying an extra wire is unfortunately a must. But after completing the installation with some of the obstacles listed, I have to say that they look crisp, illuminate my pickup platform brightly and more or less forget the problems I encountered. Then the next day came and the lights blinked, then stopped working. Not sure what the problem is. But give them a few minutes and they will work again. Then when the truck starts, they flash again and then stop again. Not sure what the problem is, only works sporadically.
