This scope was really impressive for the money. For $20 you could buy a high contrast pearl. The circular contrast of fibers with directional light makes it popular. I shoot cymbals and have several different brands and this bead would look great on any. As other reviewers have said, don't expect this thing to be gargantuan. It appears compact due to the interlaced fiber colors where a solid bead would take up all the space. The strange thing for me was that the ground is not completely level. Does it have a small raised area next to the screw post, maybe to keep it from wearing down the fairing? It doesn't stick by itself and requires some kind of driver (Loctite, etc.). As you can find on the pistol forums, this is also a great front sight post replacement for pistols. I put it on a Micro Compact 9 and it's not too big. Multiple thread sizes were great and I just opened up the original thread hole a bit and got a high contrast fiber post for $20.
