Cannot be attached without super glue to keep it straight. There is no guarantee that it will match the barrel when tightened. I have tried removing and replacing this scope several times, but there is no way to properly align the scope with the barrel. The best I could do was tighten it to the very last turn of the screw and then back it out until it was exactly in line with the barrel.
