These tapes work well. However, you must ensure that all dust is removed from your blank and stencil. There was some dust on the tape and the connection failed when milling this part of the template. This allowed the template to move a bit and I ruined about 1 foot of the 8/4 sapele board. It happened again, but I was able to sand away a small imperfection. You have to be really vigilant to make sure the dust is removed from both parts before using the tape. I used it with a spiral template and some MDF templates I made to make the African Sapele Adirondack chairs. In general, if it sticks well initially, it does a good job.
