Review on 🏗️ Telesteps 1800EP Telescoping Ladder, with One-Touch Release, OSHA Compliant, 14.5 ft Extended Height, Up to 18 ft Reach, Wide Pro Step, Telescoping Extension Ladder by Jerry King

I ordered 20 of these on the recommendation of the insurance agent and discovered the hard way that they were unreliable. The release mechanism under each step can fail within a week of using the stair. They want you to return the ladder to the retailer and the cost and hassle (remember the ladder doesn't completely collapse) of doing this is supposed to be something people like me forget. We use them for evaluation (they are not reliable enough for projects) and they are kept in the back seat or in the trunk of the cars we use, not in the back of a truck. Great idea but once they started outsourcing production to China the quality went to hell. So 3 out of 20 are not usable yet because they don't break. We gave away 9 of these to customers so I don't know if they still work or not. I'm attaching pictures of 2 of them. The right one broke after 3 months and now we use it in the store because it stretches but doesn't collapse completely. The one on the left broke after 2 weeks. The guy who sold them to me kept telling me these ladders don't fail. As if he had said it often enough, I would have left. He's right, I am.
