This scooter is very well built and very easy to assemble. You only need a screwdriver to attach the footrest. The scooter's shock absorbers give it a nice "bounce" which is very noticeable compared to other scooters. The shock absorbers make it very comfortable to use and it's strong enough for adults. The area of the foot is large enough to place one foot straight and the other vertically behind it. The height adjustment is quick and takes seconds. The only downside I found is that the stand does not support the scooter when the handlebars are in the highest position. This makes it too high and the footrest too short to prevent the scooter from sagging. But my kids RARELY use their footpegs anyway, so it doesn't matter. And NO, I didn't mount the running board correctly, the holes are already drilled. Overall a GREAT scooter, very smooth and much less effort than a scooter with smaller wheels. We recommend!
