This was my second purchase of this item. just to have a new one ready to go if (if) my first one ever wears out. The strap is stretchable, but there are separate buckle holes at the end. Previous versions of this style of webbing belt that I have purchased relied on a buckle poking through the weave, causing the leather threads to snap in less than a year. The design of this strap completely eliminates this problem.
