Perfect for boosting confidence when learning to swim

Water Gear Backstroke Progressive Split Float (Orange) (1) This backstroke works great. My grandson is 44 pounds and this swimmer keeps his head above the water so he can paddle and paddle in the correct swimming position. He really likes this swimmer as he can "swim" in the pool without being held down and wearing a rescue device. In the pool there is always an adult next to him, since this is not a lifeline, but a device that will help the child learn to swim. This allowed him to gain the confidence to swim alone. It currently has all four foam rectangles and is very buoyant. As he progresses in his swim, I remove the foam pieces one at a time so he only has the support he needs to do his best. I would recommend this product to anyone whose child does not swim but likes to exercise on their own. This float has a zipper that is very easy to adjust and open/unzip. It's a bit chunky with all four rectangles on its back, but keeps its head above the water as you paddle and paddle.
