I was hesitant at first but these shocks are just AWESOME! You brought my Cooper back to life. I got some from another company for another machine and they work, but they don't slow down when approaching the top like these do. It's just great. I only wish the basic design of the hood/trunk dampers were different because getting the clips out of the way when installing is (literally) a pain in the fingers. I recommend them, but be careful not to bend the clips.
