Review on ALTRA AL0A4VQH All WTHR Trail Running Sports & Fitness by Jason Childs

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Like the Lone Peak 5 with improved ankle support

If you're looking for a lightweight alternative to the typical leather-lined Gore-Tex hiking boot, consider these trail running shoes from Altra. I've loved hiking with their Timps and Lone Peaks so wearing their mid tops was a relatively new experience for me. But I wasn't disappointed. These "boots" (if I may call them that) retain the great foot shape and comfort of their regular trail running shoe with the added benefit of a Gore-Tex lining and better ankle support. The balanced cushioning may take some getting used to, but other than that, this shoe is just about perfect for carrying heavy packs and long distances. Buy with confidence!
