Better than plugged in
They're easier to remove than plugged in, but generally not easy. The hardest part is filling them up and putting them in the fridge without spilling anything. Also, time will tell how well they hold up to constant use. I had an older type attached and although the silicone was less soft as far as I can remember, it lasted over 10 years without breaking with minimal maintenance. Maybe in the next year or so I'll update it and increase the star rating as things like this depend on how long they last us.
