I like these. As a grown woman I bought a medium size thinking it would be better and a small one for my grandkids. Honestly, I can wear both small and medium. If you have very long ears, a larger size may suit you. I think the medium is the most popular for customization. Outside they are woolly, like felt, inside they are soft - in the ear. I use them more for wind protection than for warmth. As I walked along our beach, the wind hurt my ears pretty quickly. Wearing these things stops it. They are lightweight and easy to carry in your purse or even in your pocket (just remember to wash them). I've been buying these types of ear covers for years and I'm as long as I can get my hands on them! I bought sand and black. I don't hesitate to update my reviews when new information seems useful. UPDATE: 06/16/2019 Didn't get to my boxes right away. and after looking at my boxes they sent me a large one instead of a medium one. Too bad they sent the WRONG SIZES. I know I need a medium size - large is HUGE. I will try another seller. :( The little one is perfect for my 8 year old - a bit too big for my 5 year old.
