Review on 🌬️ Integlobe Electric Air Pump: Quick-Fill & Portable Inflator/Deflator Pump for Pool Floats, Toys, and More - 130W by Tanya Smith

Suitable for large inflation valves but terrible for traditional small valves.

So I easily inflated a large inflatable pool with this pump and I loved it. The pool had compartments with a US quarter size valve and this pump had an adapter that fitted very well. Sort of like a really cheap beach ball, where you have to squeeze the valve really hard and blow endlessly through a tiny nozzle to pop it. Well, I had an adapter for that, I thought, but it took me 20 minutes of pinching and poking before I figured out why so little air was getting into my beach pool accessories. The small main valve on this one is so poorly designed that it vents air - on purpose - on the sides of the valve instead of the front. (Look at the picture - you will see what I mean). What this means to you is that no air is getting into the valve - or at least the valve of the product I was trying to blow up - because the air doesn't flow forward past the valve, it just flows out. Inlet with no directional pressure to open the valve on its own - and you can't pinch the valve because the nozzle fills the entire valve space, so the exiting air has to have enough pressure to overcome the valve inlet. The only way to even get this to work is to take a small hacksaw and saw off the tip of the valve and then insert the plug into the valve and inflate. Needless to say, it was very frustrating and I wouldn't do it. I recommend this product because of this design flaw, although when it works it seemed to work well at an affordable price.
