I wasn't impressed with the tightness or sound quality of these tiny and tinny sounding "Marine" speakers. doesn't look waterproof (see picture). The speaker cables are hardwired. That means there's no speaker port on the back. The included speaker cable goes to the back of the speaker where it is permanently connected. There's really no sound to analyze as there is no bass response and the mids and highs, while not distorted, are a bit muddy. However, speakers can be loud without distortion. They are only suitable for boat speakers where you want background music but sound quality is not an issue. The sea seal is again questionable. The sound quality was a big disappointment, especially when you get $50 marine speakers here at Revain which have really good bass and sound quality.
