Review on Janome HD3000 Heavy Duty Machine Stitches by Amanda Castillo

So far this machine is great. BUT I also had the problem that some users had the experience that the machine only sews in reverse and the reverse button doesn't work. Many users gave it 1 star and sent the product back, but I hate returning things and decided to just look inside the machine to see if pressing the button actually does anything or not. WHERE there was a long pole with a hook on both ends, and the hook that was supposed to attach to the reverse button came loose. SIMPLE SOLUTION. If you can rely on it, I suggest opening the bottom cover of the machine to repair it yourself. I've noticed (through lots of online forums and troubleshooting searches) that sometimes parts of the machine could come loose due to rough riding. In my case, there is a long hook that should be attached to the reverse button from left to right, but it is loose, so the default mode was reverse. It was really easy to fix, it was just annoying. You need to unscrew and screw all the bottom parts back on. But it's worth it. You won't break the car if you do this, it's not a circuit board rocket science problem. I think some cars were treated roughly when traveling since this company is from Japan. (Just snap a picture of which screw goes where if you forgot!) I really enjoy using my now working machine and I'm glad it was just a minor issue and I didn't have to send it in for repair. Aside from that the machine came with all of the above, a hardcover carrying case and all the small accessories including empty spools, screwdrivers, assorted feet, lint brush, felt etc. If anyone would like pictures of the repairs I mentioned they can contact me record me I couldn't find any pictures of the internals online so I'd be happy to help anyone who needs help as I also hate returning things.
