I don't usually write reviews but I had to. This thing is amazing! I have a 13 pound rabbit and I have severe allergies. I was itchy all over and took allergy medication every day. I had it for a week and didn't take any medication. My itching has completely stopped and I can breathe again. As you can see from the photos hair collects on the outside so I wipe it off occasionally. I keep it at the highest level. So the sound is audible. But it does not bother me. I plan to get more of these for my other rooms so will update my review. EDIT: Last picture if difference between a new filter and a filter that has been in use for months.
