Cheap and scratches my bike!

I am very upset about this! I tried to install it and it immediately scratched my bike's paintwork! My whole ride hasn't left a single scratch, but this thing has. When you screw it in, the screw is exposed and plunges right into the object you want to attach it to. What a crappy design! There were no instructions or warnings. In addition to this terrible design flaw that could damage your bike, the mechanism that must tighten the clamp is also poorly designed. Part of the screw is too big so the plastic body of the screw just rubs against the plastic base when you try to tighten it. Because of this, it is impossible to properly tighten the clamp. Plastic is extremely cheap. There is no lining at all, no adjustment. So unless you have a small disposable plastic water bottle (because so many bikers want plastic-flavored hot water), you're unlikely to keep your bottle. I can easily see my hands breaking from this. Of course I'm sending it back, but I also want the company to pay to fix my scratched paintwork. This is absolutely unacceptable.
