Not Accurate Enough for Automotive Use

This micrometer claims to be able to measure small distances accurately, but through trial and error, I found that it consistently gave inaccurate readings. This could be disastrous for anyone using it in an automotive setting and relying on precise measurements. The one pro is that it has a sturdy build, but if it can't do the job it's designed for, then that doesn't really matter. Overall, I would not recommend this product for anyone in need of reliable and accurate measuring for their automotive diagnostics.
