These bike racks work well and I love that I can hang my bikes higher on the wall where I can use the empty space in my small apartment and display my bikes. The metal feels thick and hard while the paint and rubber appear to be of decent quality. I would have preferred the wheel blocks to be longer for easier lifting of bikes without scratching my wall. Plan to buy the best hardware to install it. The kit comes with enough wall anchors and drywall screws to assemble the entire kit, but the screws appear to be made of cheese. My 10 year old drill broke one of them trying to screw it into the wall, even with a dead battery, and almost all of the others had their heads removed, even with the right Phillips bit. . I just replaced them with better quality hardware store screws.
