
As mentioned in other comments, the red alignment button is a bit loose. But IMHO, that's enough. Remember to pull it back when measuring. You can also make sure the retaining bead is free before you put the two pieces together, otherwise you'll end up with a nice long scratch on the black piece. I bought the bike online and FedEx kindly kicked the crap out of the rear suspension. The tool itself was a bit tricky to use due to its brevity and the fact that the red button is only for checking alignment and shouldn't be adjusted. I used 1-1/4" pipe as a cheat rod on the black part of the handle. It was very easy to adjust the alignment. I didn't take the time to get it perfect, but you could probably do a little bit The bike now shifts properly.
