Review on TROND 7 Outlet Surge Protector Power Strip with USB Ports, ETL Listed, Wall Mountable - 1700J, Low-Profile Flat Plug - Black by Derrick Kadam

Revainrating 4 out of 5

It had the features I was looking for but BEWARE OF THE SCREWS

This power supply has several features I've been looking for, namely: a flat angled head, a long cord and a screw mount. option on board. screws included. Just throw them away right away and mount them under the table with real screws. The head of 2 screws broke off. The first was with my full reduced torque drill. OK. I will screw manually. Then THIS bolt broke before I could fully tighten it. Are those chrome plated plastic screws? Otherwise this device seems good, I have all the plugins and everything seems fully functional. This device allowed me to run all of the electrical connections on my desk to the bottom of my desk instead of laying an extension cord on the floor that looks dirty and unsightly. I probably won't be using USB connections, but they're there for when I need to power something this way.

Pros
  • extension blade. Constructed of 14 AWG pure copper, the 5ft extender is rugged and has the best current rating (15A). The angled spade end eliminates cluttering cords and doesn't clutter up the interior of the room or block the bottom outlet
Cons
  • Out of style
